AI credits cover AI-assisted work, including generating visuals and slides, applying Effects, and requests to the agent, including requests to edit your work. Direct manual edits do not use AI credits. Pictures Napkin generates for your slides do not use AI credits, and generating the slides of your first presentation uses no credits while it is your only presentation and has 20 slides or fewer.
Checking your credit balance: Check your remaining balance and refresh date in Account Settings or your Teamspace subscription settings. Free-plan allowances refresh weekly; paid-plan allowances refresh monthly. Purchased top-up credits are tracked separately and do not expire.
Low credit warning: On paid plans, the chat shows a message when you have used 75% of your AI credits. It shows again at 85% and 95%. Each message shows once per credit period and closes on its own. Point to the info icon to see when your credits reset. You do not get these warnings while you still have top-up credits. The Free plan does not get them either.
Credit allowances by plan:
Free: 500 AI credits per week.
Plus: 10,000 AI credits per month per paid seat.
Pro: 30,000 AI credits per month per paid seat.
