Credits & Plans

Napkin Visuals and Slides are two separate products, but they are operated under a single subscription, so, Napkin Slides is available on every plan, Free, Plus, and Pro, at no extra cost.

How credits work

It costs 100 credits to generate a slide. After that, everything stays editable. This is a simple rule to remember: you can edit your text, change your layout, or update your colors and fonts as much as you like, and none of it will cost you any credits. Credits are only consumed when you generate something new.

Since applying a Visual Effect means generating a new styled version of your slide, it also costs you credits.

Exporting

You can export as PDF or PNG for free, with no limits, on every plan. You can also export as PPT or SVG on the Free plan, but there is a limit on how many times you can do this. If you upgrade your plan, this limit goes away completely.

Do credits roll over?

Credits included in your subscription do not roll over to the next billing period. But if you've purchased additional top-up credits, those do roll over, and they never expire.

Running low on credits

If you run out of credits mid-generation, nothing is lost. Your deck is saved exactly where it stopped. You can simply upgrade to keep going right away, or wait for your credits to reset. Either way, you will be picking up from exactly where you left off.

If you need an idea of what each plan offers, you can check out our available plans on our pricing page, or purchase additional credits if you are already on our Pro plan.
