Once you're in Napkin Slides, you'll land right in front of the Napkin agent. Paste your text, describe your idea, or click the + icon to add a file instead.
Type directly to the agent, or click the + icon to attach a file.
If you’re typing, paste your existing text or describe what you’re working on. You can start with something short, like "Investor pitch for a note-taking app," but the more context and detail you give, the better the outline it builds.
If you attach a document, Napkin reads it and uses it as the basis for your presentation.
To use a web page instead, paste its link in your message. Napkin reads the page and uses it the same way. If it cannot open the page, it says so and asks you to paste the content or attach a file.
Supported file types
PDF, Word (DOCX), PowerPoint (PPTX), Excel (XLSX), CSV, text, Markdown, HTML, and RTF files, plus JPG, PNG, and WEBP pictures
Up to 20 MB per file and up to 10 files per message
Processing limits also apply to document length and complexity. If an import fails, try a smaller file or a relevant section.
Language support
Napkin supports more than 60 languages, including Spanish, Japanese, and Korean.
The agent replies in the language you write in, even if the Napkin interface is set to another language.
Once you've shared what you're working on, Napkin asks a few quick questions before building anything. See Building Your Outline for what to expect.
