Can I export my visuals to Microsoft Word?

Updated over a week ago

Currently, Napkin AI doesn't support direct export to Microsoft Word (DOCX) format. However, you can export your visuals in different formats—PNG, SVG, PPT, or PDF—and then insert them into your Word document. Here’s how:

  1. Export your Visuals:

    • Click or hover on the visual you’d like to export.

    • A download button will appear in the top-right corner of the visual. Clicking it will open a preview with export options.

    • Choose to export the visual as PNG, SVG, PPT, or PDF.

  2. Choosing the Right Format:

    • PNG: Best for high-quality static images. Ideal for embedding into Word documents where resizing is minimal.

    • SVG: Use this format if you need a scalable graphic. SVG files maintain clarity at any size, perfect for when you need to resize your visuals inside Word.

  3. Insert into Word:

    • After exporting, open your Word document.

    • Use the "Insert" tab, select "Pictures," and choose the visual from your computer.

Although we are working on adding a direct Word export feature, this method allows you to easily incorporate visuals into your documents. If you'd like to see this feature prioritized, feel free to let us know!
