Learn how to create and manage API tokens to connect Napkin with your own tools and workflows.

Napkin AI includes API functionality that can be accessed from within your Napkin account. API tokens can be generated in the app and used to connect Napkin with external tools, workflows, or systems.

Create an account at app.napkin.ai if you do not already have one

Open Account Settings and go to the Developer tab

If you use a Teamspace, Account Settings says "API Keys are managed in Teamspace settings." Open Teamspace settings and go to the Developers tab instead

In a Teamspace, only admins can create API tokens. If an admin is changed to Member, their API tokens for that Teamspace stop working right away. An admin can create new ones.
